Dual Vision (2014)

4 mins

The short filmDual Vision is an assemblage of scenes, featuring portraits, from Russian and European propaganda films from the 1920´s and 30´s.

The faces and the elivened gaze of the portrayed people depicted the crowds emotional, ideological  and political engagement of the theme and vision of the film, mostly industrial developments. These portraits, mostly shot from underneath to enhance a statuesque vigor, were typical for early propaganda films and most often represented by common people, extras, and workers.
